Kodak Black and Metro Boomin Have Some Crazy Music on the Way

Kodak Black‘s been grinding hard since getting out of S.C. jail a couple weeks ago. He’s dropped a couple songs, including “There He Go” and features with Yo Gotti (“Weatherman”) and DeJ Loaf (“All I Want for Christmas”), but he’s also been in the lab with the one and only Metro Boomin. Listen to a snippet of what they’ve been working on above.
The beat, flutes and all, sounds like something off Savage Mode, the album Metro made with 21 Savage earlier this year. Muted and subtle, it’s one of many production styles Kodak does best with.
For the past couple years, Kodak has blessed fans with a mixtape on Christmas, but that doesn’t look like it’s happening this year, as he told fans on social media he’d be falling back this year. But that doesn’t mean he won’t be coming with more new music soon. He’s been in the lab with Mike WiLL Made-It recently as well, so stay tuned.
