Three months after T.I. released his surprise Us or Else, the rapper expanded that politically charged six-song EP into a 15-track album Friday titled Us or Else: Letter to the System. Check out the album now exclusively through Tidal.
All six of Us or Else's songs – including first single "Black Man" with Quavo, Meek Mill and RaRa, "Switchin' Lanes" with Big K.R.I.T. and "40 Acres" with Killer Mike – reappear on Letter to the System, which features nine new tracks that boast guests like The-Dream, B.o.B, Charlie Wilson, London Jae and more.
Us or Else: Letter to the System marks T.I.'s first new album since 2014's Paperwork, and the first full LP since the rapper aligned with Jay Z's streaming service.
"I continually see injustices happening and I had to speak out," T.I. previously said in a statement. "There are millions of people, many who have supported me, who don't have the privilege of having a platform like mine. This is my opportunity to be their voice, to bring attention to their suffering and my attempt to also right some wrongs. But I also want us to wake up and invest in ourselves and our communities."
In November, T.I. performed "Black Man" live on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he also talked about protesting outside Trump Tower following the 2016 presidential election.
"When I look at my kids in the eyes after this thing takes place — I voted and did everything I could have done prior to now — but after the decision of the election that happened, I just want to be able to look my kids in the eyes and make sure they know I did everything that the Constitution allows me to do to show my objection to this decision," T.I. said.
In addition to the album, T.I. also unveiled his new video for "Switchin' Lanes" on Tidal.
